NEAL RICHARDSON DATTA

Mr. Datta has been practicing law since 1992. He has represented countless individuals before the immigration authorities in twhe tri-state area and worldwide in their pursuit of lawful residence and U.S. Citizenship. Mr. Datta has a long history representing clients appearing before the USCIS officers in the New York City, Newark, New Jersey, and Garden City District Offices. If you plan to apply for benefits in one of these offices, you will need a representative fully familiar with the procedures and officers there.Mr. Datta also has extensive experience in the entertainment industry and represents several recording artists, managers, and record companies in their legal matters. He has also produced several records in the Hip Hop and Reggae music genres. Mr. Datta is a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York State.
Neal Datta received his B.A. at Kenyon College in 1987 and his J.D. at Brooklyn Law School in 1992. He is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Connecticut. In addition, Mr. Datta is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court of the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York. Neal is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has lobbied for immigrant’s rights on behalf of AILA in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Datta is fluent in Spanish and conversant in German.
